WA Youth Orchestra
Highly-acclaimed local artists, conductor Jen Winley and New Zealand-born pianist Liam Wooding, join WA Youth Orchestra on stage at Perth Concert Hall to present a powerful, symbiotic performance of unforgettable masterpieces.
Featuring one of the greatest piano concertos ever written, Liam Wooding performs Rachmaninov’s stormy and romantic Piano Concerto No.2, alongside the Australian premiere of British composer Dani Howard’s Argentum.
In a spectacular finale led by conductor Jen Winley, the second half of the concert will feature WAYO in full force, performing Shostakovich’s dramatic and impassioned Symphony No.10.
