The West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s favourite artists, their favourite music & everyone’s favourite Fifth Symphony!
WASO marks 90 years of great music-making with special season-opening concerts.
We have invited our favourite West Australian soloists to join in our celebrations, some we’ve loved working with over many years, and others new to Perth who we’ve instantly adored! They have selected their favourite works to make a bumper first half of richly-varied classical hits.
The West Australian Symphony Orchestra are also delighted to welcome home the most exciting conducting talent to emerge from Perth in many years, their former Assistant Conductor (and now Associate Conductor of the Colorado Symphony), Christopher Dragon, to conduct Beethoven’s triumphant Fifth Symphony.
