Experience a kaleidoscope of dreams, visions, and euphoria as Symphonie fantastique takes you on a journey through the vivid imagination of Hector Berlioz. A stunning musical self-portrait and epic orchestral tour de force.
We open with Mendelssohn's overture, The Hebrides. Ride the waves of the Atlantic in this dark and brooding work, as Mendelssohn's music envelops you in the might of mother nature. Perth saxophonist Matthew Styles takes centre stage as he premieres Holly Harrison’s new Saxophone Concerto.
