Richard Wagner, the legendary composer of the Romantic era, has captivated audiences for well over a century with his epic music and dramatic operas.
In this exclusive Discovery concert, Principal Conductor Asher Fisch swaps his baton for a microphone as he leads the audience through an exploration of Wagner’s mastery. Asher will go from the piano to the podium as he dives into the stories, orchestration and meaning behind Wagner’s Ring Cycle with a focus on Die Walküre, accompanied by the full orchestra who will perform excerpts of the work live on stage.
