Mendelssohn’s majestic landscape
Mendelssohn’s Third Symphony is a brooding work of orchestral colour, inspired by the misty magnificence of the rolling Scottish landscape. Making his WASO debut, former Sydney Symphony Orchestra Principal Cellist Umberto Clerici has established himself as a fast-rising star of the conducting world.
