Since his first appearance as guest conductor of WASO in 1987, Russian-born Vladimir Verbitsky has become a much-loved figure in Perth’s musical world. To celebrate, he leads WASO and the WASO Chorus in two dramatic Russian masterpieces: Rachmaninov’s massive choral symphony The Bells and Tchaikovsky’s Manfred Symphony.
