2017 marks The Waifs 25th Anniversary. The Waifs are celebrating and commemorating this event by touring across Australia in March & April and by releasing 25 songs recorded live & acoustic in Josh’s house in rural New South Wales. The album is called Ironbark, the title track and the name of the trees seen from Josh’s house whilst recording.
The fans had a say in all this! The Waifs asked themselves what album and what show would you, the fans, want them to create. So this one is for you guys. An evening with The Waifs... two hours of music that spans their 25 year history of touring with their sets determined with input from you, laced with your stories and your experiences.
You know all about The Waifs... meeting in Broome WA, traveling around - that old tale has been told many times.
"The Waifs fans are legendary in the industry for their loyalty and enthusiasm. It feels like we all grew up together. We are now the band you can bring your parents and your kids to hear! Your involvement in our career means everything to us. You are the very reason we are still playing music together 25 years on." - The Waifs
Support on the night from Lucy Peach.
