WAAPA, Edith Cowan University and the Perth Concert Hall are proud to present the monstrous, Spooktacular this Halloween!
Join us in the Perth Concert Hall for a sensational evening of fun, frivolity, and phenomenal virtuosity. The Symphonic Wind Ensemble brings you a program of epic proportions: a world-premiere by WAAPA’s own Jonathan Yang (of Brave the Wave fame), Dr Matt Styles leads us through the Australian premiere of Victoriano Valencia’s Three Colombian Scenes for Alto Saxophone and Band, and Eric Whitacre’s crowd-favourite; Godzilla Eats Las Vegas! The concert culminates in John Mackey’s epic symphony, Wine Dark Sea.
The staff and students of WAAPA are so incredibly happy, excited and privileged to be able to perform for a live audience in this fabulous and iconic venue, so grab your fancy dress costume and we’ll see you there!
