Perth Concert Hall is delighted to partner with FANE to present a special online event:
Nels Abbey was inspired to write Think Like a White Man by his direct experience of trying to build a career in white-dominated industries – first in finance and later in the media.
Told through both the voice of Nels and that of the (fictional) distinguished Professor of White People Studies at Bishop Lamonthood University, Dr Boulé Whytelaw III, this bold and satirical guide to conquering the world while being Black is an incisive and timely examination of racism and masculinity today, offering 'advice' on how to be successful in a world that sets you up to fail.
Join Nels live in conversation as he skewers the prejudices of the modern-day workplace by explaining the rules by which mediocre white men continue to get ahead. This promises to be a brilliantly funny event with a very serious point behind it.
