Perth’s brilliant Gypsy Jazz Band, Sassafras, with the golden voice of Jessie Gordon, opens our 2023 program.

Sassafras performs toe-tapping swing, breakneck gypsy jazz and reworked jazz standards with the dazzling virtuosity and passion intrinsic to the gypsy jazz tradition.

Bring your picnic and enjoy the tranquil setting of the Government House Gardens for this family-friendly, uplifting concert with one of Perth’s most entertaining music groups.
