Principal Conductor of China’s Xi’an Symphony Orchestra Dane Lam conducts two contrasting symphonies: Prokofiev’s boisterous and witty First and Sibelius’ Fifth, a work of unbridled orchestral ecstasy infused with images of the expansive Finnish landscape.
