WAYO will unveil its 2018 Perth Concert Hall season with a musical journey of orchestral masterpieces, beginning with Ravel’s hypnotic and explosive Boléro - one of the most recognised works of all time. Emmalena Huning, WAYO’s very own 17 year old string sensation and 2017 National Youth Concerto Competition finalist, will dazzle with Korngold’s Hollywood film-style Violin Concerto in D before the evening concludes with Mussorgsky’s masterpiece, Pictures at an Exhibition - a vivid musical picture brought to life in Maurice Ravel’s colourful and famous orchestration.
