‘…towering technique, vivid virtuosity and inspired interpretive insight’- Gramophone
A world-renowned artist of musical brilliance, British-Australian organist Joseph Nolan will be returning to Perth Concert Hall for a very special one-hour intimate morning performance this May!
Nolan will then be flying off to France to record the complete organ works of Alkan at the famous Church of La Madeleine, Paris and then to the UK to record a trumpet and organ DVD with the Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra, David Elton (former WASO Principal Trumpet).
Don't miss this opportunity to hear Perth Concert Hall’s own majestic 3,000 pipe organ, played with expert precision. Nolan will perform a virtuoso arrangement of Saint-Saëns' Organ Symphony No 3 and a work considered virtually unplayable by a solo organist, Alkan's Impromptu on Luther's Mighty Fortress Chorale.
This special concert will tantalise your ears and eyes!
