Anna Sleptsova & Tommy Seah
Perth Recital Series presents pianists Anna Sleptsova and Tommy Seah, a master-disciple duo, in a four-hands piano recital on Perth Concert Hall's intimate Corner Stage.
The duo will be performing works by Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, and the late Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk.
The first half of the program is dedicated to Schubert, who composed some of the greatest works for piano four hands including one of his best-known masterpieces, the Fantasie in F minor. The second half of the program will consist of the the intimate and beautiful Op. 39 Waltzes and a selection of virtuosic Hungarian Dances by Brahms.
The recital will conclude with two ingenious jazzy paraphrases on Beethoven’s Moonlight and Appassionata composed by Skoryk.
