An astonishing virtuoso in concert.
Behzod Abduraimov burst onto the international scene in 2009, winning the London International Piano Competition with a performance of Prokofiev’s Third Piano Concerto that was hailed as “electrifyingly physical, combining liberated exuberance with astonishing technical control”. Abduraimov astonished WASO audiences with his Tchaikovsky concerto in 2012 - don’t miss his much-anticipated return. Making his WASO debut, Swedish conductor Daniel Blendulf conducts Tchaikovsky’s passionate and poignant Sixth Symphony.
