STATEMENT FROM ARCHIE ROACH AND PROMOTER RE: ARCHIE ROACH 'TELL ME WHY' TOUR RESCHEDULED

Wednesday 21 October, 2021

"To all the current Tell Me Why - The Final Round ticket holders.

I was scheduled to perform at the Perth Concert Hall on Sunday November 8th this year as part of my final national tour, 'Tell Me Why - The Final Round.'

I thank each and every one of you for your incredible patience. With the continued restrictions around travel due to ongoing COVID19 issues, we have decided to reschedule the 'Tell Me Why' concert to a new date.
We will be presenting the same show to Perth audiences on Monday March 8th , 2021. Sincerely hoping that you will retain your ticket for this new date.

I am so excited to be able to come across to Perth in early March next year to share the songs of 'Tell Me Why' with you all.

You're sincerely Archie Roach"

STATEMENT FROM PROMOTERS OF BOY & BEAR RE: PERTH SHOW OF THEIR TOUR 'SUCK ON LIGHT' NOVEMBER 2, CANCELLED

Monday 19 October, 2020

"Thanks so much to our Perth fans for you patience as we navigate all things COVID-19. Unfortunately, due to continued COVID restrictions on capacity, we have had to cancel our show at Perth Concert Hall on Monday 2 November.
We have held out in hope a miracle would enable the show to go ahead, but we have to concede to the reality now so we can get your hard-earned cash back in to your hands.
We are very grateful to you for sticking with us on this, and really hope we can play live to you again soon.

Your point of purchase will be in touch with you shortly to arrange your refund. "

STATEMENT FROM MUSICA VIVA RE: 'LES TALENS LYRIQUES & SIOBHAN STAGG' CANCELLATION & REPLACEMENT EVENT 'MVA RECONNECT: SARA MACLIVER, JOSEPH NOLAN & ST GEORGE'S CATHEDRAL CONSORT'

Tuesday 6 October, 2020

"Dear Valued Patron,

I'm very sorry to let you know that we have made the decision to cancel the tour of Les Talens Lyriques and Siobhan Stagg. While it was our wish to bring you the final tour in our 75th year, we faced what became insurmountable challenges in both bringing Siobhan to Australia and securing internal flights and safe travel in these uncertain times.

Siobhan has sent a message which you can see here and we hope to be able to welcome her to our stage at some point in the future.

Whilst we haven’t been able to bring you the International artists as intended this year, we’ve been working hard to return to the stage. Therefore, we are delighted to invite you to reconnect with live music, the arts, and the Musica Viva community in Perth on Monday 23 November.

Enjoy regal favourites by Handel and the Baroque masters to inspire and uplift performed by Sara Macliver, the St George's Cathedral Consort with director and organist Joseph Nolan, and trumpeter Jenny Coleman.

We have worked closely with Perth Concert Hall to provide the safest possible experience and you can learn more about our COVID-19 safety measures here. Seats are strictly limited while we operate to a reduced audience capacity and therefore you will be re-seated in the same area but with a new socially distanced seat allocation.

I do hope you will be able to join us as we return to live music.

With many thanks for your continuing support and every best wish. "

CEO, Musica Viva Australia
