March 2022 Venue Updates and Statements

STATEMENT FROM STAR ENTERTAINMENT RE: 'The Magical Music of Harry Potter: Live in Concert' and 'The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit' Cancelled

Wednesday 30 March, 2022

"Dear Customers and audiences in Australia and New Zealand,

We were going to offer you a very special night out with “The Magical Music of Harry Potter” and "Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit- The Concert" in May and June 2022 across Oceania.

You may not realise but we have international cast and crew coming in for the production, and this is to give you the best possible experience.

In any other time this would be usually without problem. The various different restrictions across the world are still having a huge impact on our full tours going ahead, and we can’t get the shows to happen as we would wish

We all had great expectations for these shows that our team has been planning, but we need to postpone our concerts to 2023.

Unfortunately we are unable to fit Perth into the new routing and availabilities we have received from venues. Star Entertainment is really sorry and would like to offer you the chance to obtain a refund.

The good news is, if you are able to travel, our stars will be performing on new dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Gold Coast in 2023!"
