This February, join us for two magical, candlelit concerts celebrating the music of two of history’s greatest musical powerhouses, British rock royalty Queen and the beloved American rockstar and actor Meat Loaf.

Both of these smash hit shows will come to Perth direct from the UK and feature a live cast of highly-acclaimed West End singers, accompanied by a live rock band. Cast members include Patrick O’Sullivan (Carrie: The Musical, The Wind in the Willows, Doctor Dolittle, The Book of Mormon), Sandra Regan (Godspell, The Sound of Music), Rory Taylor (Jesus Christ Superstar, Thriller Live, Rent) and Simon Gordon (Heathers, Girl from the North Country, Moulin Rouge). 

These will be exciting performances for Scottish-born, Australian citizen Simon Gordon, who has family in Perth. No strangers to Meat Loaf, Simon and Patrick both appeared in West End productions of Bat Out of Hell, an award-winning musical based on the Meat Loaf album of the same name. 

So far, Queen by Candlelight has sold out over 80 shows in the UK and will play at St Paul’s Cathedral, London (the Cathedral’s first ever rock concert!) and Carnegie Hall, New York later this year. The show features some of the legendary band’s most iconic rock anthems including but not limited to Bohemian Rhapsody, It's a Kind of Magic, We Are The Champions and Who Wants to Live Forever.

Since premiering in September last year, Meat Loaf by Candlelight has played 20 sell out shows in the UK and received outstanding reviews. Attendees will be blown away by faithful performances of Meat Loaf’s greatest hits such as Anything for Love, Bat Out of Hell, Two Out of Three Ain't Bad, Dead Ringer for Love and more.
