Few guitarists have left as indelible a mark on music as the legendary Steve Vai.
Steve’s music career, which now spans more than 40 years, has seen him perform and record with rock royalty like Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth, Alcatraz, Whitesnake, and more. With more than 15 million record sales and countless awards under his belt, including three Grammy wins, it’s no wonder Steve is considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

Steve’s guitar skills are nothing short of mind-blowing. Known for his virtuosic technique, characterised by lightning-fast guitar solos, intricate finger-tapping, and a mastery of various guitar effects, Steve continues to push the boundaries of what is possible on the six-stringed instrument, setting a standard that aspiring guitarists still strive to reach.
Steve released his 10th studio album, Inviolate, in 2022 and another record, Vai/Gash, earlier this year. Vai/Gash is a collaborative album by Steve Vai and his late, dear friend Johnny ‘Gash’ Sombretto, recorded in the 90s and released 30 years later.
