How to make your concert experience extra special

If you’ve ever attended a concert at Perth Concert Hall, you’ll already know that the experience is pretty magical. But did you know there are a couple of things you can do to make your night out at the Hall extra special?

Keep reading to discover how you can make your next concert experience with us even more memorable.

Enjoy pre-concert dinner and drinks. Make a night of it with dinner and drinks before the show! In addition to our bars, we have three amazing in-house dining experiences at the Hall: a gourmet à la carte menu and extended wine list at the Riverside Café; hearty and delicious pub classics at The Wardle Kitchen; and light and fresh Grab & Go bites. To see what will be on offer when you visit the Hall, check the event page on our website in the days leading up to the show.

Pro tip: Bookings are essential for the Riverside Café and on busy show nights, it’s not unusual for the Café to be booked out – so make sure you secure a table ahead of time.

Book a room at the Duxton. Avoid the drive home and look forward to an evening of luxury instead. The beautiful Duxton Hotel Perth is conveniently located right next door to Perth Concert Hall, meaning you don’t have to worry about trekking to the other side of the city late at night. If you’re coming from out of town for a concert, this is perfect for you!

Pro tip: To make your stay at the Duxton more affordable, we sometimes have ‘Show & Stay’ packages available, so keep an eye on our website. Right now, you can save 10% on a room when you book tickets to The King of Rock & The Prince of Pop on Thursday 9 December.

Dress for the occasion. While there’s no formal dress code at Perth Concert Hall, getting dressed up for your night out definitely adds to the experience. We see patrons in all sorts of outfits, so don’t worry about being overdressed – just wear whatever makes you feel your best!

Book your tickets early. The acoustics are fantastic no matter where you sit in the Hall, but a good view can make a great concert experience unforgettable. The best way to ensure you get a good seat is to book early, especially if there’s a presale period.
