Award-winning Irish comedian, actor and writer Dylan Moran will bring his brand new show We Got This to Perth this May. The first Australian tour Moran has embarked on since the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world, We Got This will be a hilarious exploration of the everyday stresses and silliness of modern life.
Moran is perhaps best known for co-creating and starring in the critically acclaimed British sitcom Black Books, in which he plays introverted bookshop owner Bernard Black, who detests the outside world and most of the people in it. Not unlike Black's, Moran’s sense of humour is witty, observational and oftentimes dark and cynical.
Despite this, he struggled with the isolation of lockdown and has felt relieved not only to return to the stage but to reconnect with other human beings.
The ABC recently spoke to Moran about his upcoming tour, his experiences during the pandemic and his disinterest in appealing to the masses.
