The delirious joy of stadium-sized rock

With their brand new string-laden single ‘Two Of Us’ in the iTunes top 5, WASO is excited to announce a special concert with Birds of Tokyo. The five piece will be joined by WASO to showcase brand new music as well as reinterpretations of some signature Birds of Tokyo classics. Appropriately the tour will commence in Perth, where the band was founded over 15 years ago.

Birds of Tokyo is Australia’s most successful contemporary rock band. Since forming in Perth over 15 years ago they have enjoyed chart topping albums and had eleven singles make triple j’s prestigious ‘Hottest 100’. They have won APRA’s songwriting award for ‘Rock Work of the Year’ an extraordinary six times since 2012.  

This event was original scheduled for Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May.

All tickets purchased for original event dates (1, 2 & 3 May 2020) will be honoured for the new dates:

• Tickets purchased for Friday 1 May 2020 will be valid for Thursday 14 January 2021
• Tickets purchased for Saturday 2 May 2020 will be valid for Friday 15 January 2021
• Tickets purchased for Sunday 3 May 2020 will be valid for Saturday 16 January 2021

There is no need to get in touch with the Box Office, just continue to hold onto your tickets which remain valid.

If the new dates doesn’t work for you, we can make an exchange, give you a refund or help you donate the value of the tickets back to the WASO (with thanks).
