‘Blessed with poetic and sensitive pianism’ – Washington Post
Musica Viva have done it again! Bringing another talented musician to the Hall. This time around we have the beautiful Grammy nominated South Korean born pianist virtuoso, Joyce Yang.
Yang chats to Musica Viva about her mini holiday with her husband (yes she maybe superhumanly talented…but she is still human), the different sides that pour out of her whilst playing on stage and how discusses music in the forms of colours.
The best part, her wise words of wisdom that any performer can relate to, ‘It is extremely hard to do…To keep your sanity, you have to train yourself to instantly let go if something less than perfect happens…it’s an art to let go. ‘
