WASO’s Philanthropy Team are seeking a highly motivated, warm and friendly person with sound fundraising experience to help build the philanthropic income stream for WASO through the implementation of the Annual Giving campaign, including donor and prospect management. Working with the Executive Manager, Philanthropy, you will build a strong stewardship program as well as successfully manage communication activities that support Annual Giving programs, such as WASO’s Community Support Month. You will also work closely with your team to create strategies, proposals, plans and events that enable the generation of significant gifts.
To be successful you will have tertiary qualifications in either Arts, Business Administration, Marketing or Fundraising or equivalent demonstrated experience. Furthermore, you will have experience in the not-for-profit sector, preferably in an arts environment.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fundraising environment;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- A demonstrated track record of generating significant gifts;
- Proven success in relationship cultivation and management;
- High level ethical standards of behaviour and good judgment.
- The ability to develop marketing campaigns and communications; and
- Research and analytical skills, thoroughness and exceptional attention to detail.
