Sales Consultants

The West Australian Symphony Orchestra fosters inspiration and passion for the arts throughout our community. Established in 1928, WASO plays a central role in the cultural life of Western Australia and performs over 140 concerts each year with some of the world’s finest conductors and soloists.  Our mission is to touch souls and enrich lives through music.

Following the launch of our 2018 Season, we are looking for articulate, friendly, supporters of the performing arts, who also have a passion for sales, to join our Marketing Team. As a WASO Sales Consultant you will be required to make outbound calls to existing WASO customers (no cold calling) to increase our subscription sales.

An appreciation for classical music and recent ticketing experience is highly desirable. In return we can offer you product and sales training and achievable commissions to reward your performance.

If you can demonstrate an enthusiastic and confident approach to sales and customer service and can be available for the whole campaign period then you should apply.

Campaign details include:

  • Full day’s training on Monday 18 September 2017 (attendance essential);
  • Campaign period from Tuesday 19 September 2017 – Saturday 16 December 2017;
  • Positions are casual, offering 20 hours per week, $24.85 per hour plus 9.5% super & fortnightly commissions;
  • Shifts are Tuesday to Friday 4pm-8pm, and Saturdays 10am-2pm; and
  • All shifts will be located at Level 3 of the CSA Building at 445 Hay Street Perth WA.
